Property Taxes
Mail service is currently disrupted due to the Canada Post strike, so we are asking residents to access their utility bills and property tax notices through Online Services.
Please note that any remaining unpaid property taxes after June 30 of the year they’re levied are subject to a 4.5 per cent non-compounding penalty, applied on the first day of July, September and November. All unpaid taxes after December 31 of the year they are levied are subject to a 7 per cent compounding penalty applied on the first day of January and March. Property taxes are one of the City’s revenue sources and are paid by Spruce Grove property owners to help cover the costs of a variety of programs and services provided to residents and businesses.
