Alley snow removal occurs after residential street snow removal and after other higher priority roads have been cleared to an acceptable condition.

The order of alley snow removal operations is based on a variety of factors including the depth of snow, possibility of future drainage concerns and waste collection dates. Alleys throughout Spruce Grove are assessed and continually monitored during alley snow removal operations.

To assist with efficient snow removal, residents are reminded that debris should not obstruct the alley. Debris such as basketball nets, garbage or other items are not permitted to be stored in the road right of way (alley) at any time of year.

Also, as a reminder, parking is not permitted in an alley. If a vehicle is illegally parked, it may be towed.
