Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

In 2022, the City of Spruce Grove received grant funding from the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre (MCCAC) to install electric vehicle charging stations around the city.

There are 12 electric vehicle charging stations available for public use.

  • Six chargers at Fuhr Sports Park (9 Tri-Leisure Way)
  • Four chargers at the Agrena (9 Agrena Road)
  • Two chargers at City Hall (315 Jespersen Avenue)

The cost to recharge a vehicle will be $2/hour.

To operate the chargers, users will need to create a SWTCH account online and add a payment method. Users will be asked to input the charger ID, which is located on the unit.

Reminder that the designated electric vehicle charging stations are for electric vehicles to charge only. If you park in one of these spots without an electric vehicle or if you are not charging your vehicle, you may be ticketed.

Five additional charging stations have been installed internally at City facilities to use for City fleet vehicles.
