Work scheduled to start on the Harvest Ridge stormwater facility rehabilitation project
Upgrades to the Harvest Ridge stormwater facility are scheduled to start May 7 and are anticipated to be ongoing until mid-August.
These improvements will include repairs to the current depth of the stormwater facility, which will help to reduce algae build up and improve drainage.
To facilitate this work, the stormwater facility will need to be drained, which is expected to take around six days to complete. Crews may need to re-drain the stormwater facility as needed for the duration of the project.
Other related project work will include the excavation and reconstruction of areas within the stormwater facility, as well as the removal and replacement of infrastructure support structures to improve drainage and landscaping.
During construction residents may experience limited access to the stormwater facility including some areas along the trail, see construction equipment in the area, and hear additional noise.
Weather permitting, the project is scheduled to be completed by the end of summer.
