UPDATE: Please note that the below dates have been updated to reflect the current schedule. 

Starting on Monday, Sept. 18, there will be temporary road closures around Spruce Grove to accommodate the installation of pressure reducing valves (PRVs).

The road closures will be at four locations in Spruce Grove and will tentatively continue through mid-October. Road will be sequentially closed during PRV installation, one location at a time.

Expected timelines and areas of road closures are as follows:

• Aspenglen Drive just south of Ashgrove Drive: Sept. 18-30 - COMPLETE
• Fairway Drive just south of Fairway Point: Sept. 25-Oct. 11
• Fieldstone Park north of Fieldstone Crescent and south of Linkside Court: Oct. 11-18
• Longview Drive just north of King's Link: Oct. 18-25

Residents and motorists are encouraged to use the following detours:

• Aspenglen Drive closure – use Calahoo Road to access Grove Drive
• Fairway Drive closure – use Longview Drive west to access Calahoo Road to Grove Drive, or Longview Drive east to access King Street to Grove Drive, or Kings Link to Century Road
• Fieldstone Park closure – grassy area beside the path closure
• Longview Drive closure – use Longview Drive west to access Calahoo Road to Grove Drive or Fairway Drive to Links Road to Grove Drive

PRVs are used to reduce high incoming water pressure and provide more functional water distribution for the north portion of the city.

Signage and notices will be provided prior to the work commencing in each location.
