Potential impacts of postal strike on City of Spruce Grove services
The City is asking residents to be prepared for potential impacts of the Canada Post strike which began on Friday, Nov. 15.
For the duration of the strike, mail service will be disrupted. Therefore, residents are asked to refrain from sending anything to the City by mail until postal services resume. Residents can drop off correspondence or payments directly at City Hall at 315 Jespersen Avenue or use a courier service. There is a drop box to the left of the front doors of City Hall that can be used outside of business hours.
Residents are also reminded that they are responsible for making utility bill payments, or any other payments to the City, on time. If you are unsure if you have received your most recent utility bill, you can have one reprinted at City Hall.
You can also sign up for an Online Services account and e-bill notifications so you will get an email notification when your utility bill is ready to view online. Another convenient way to ensure your utility bill payment is never late is to sign up for pre-authorized payments to be automatically withdrawn from your bank account.
The City also offers several convenient Online Tools for residents to self-serve online.
