New water fill building construction at Henry Singer Ball Park
To ensure the ability to provide adequate water supply to the community, the City is constructing a new water fill building and work has now started. This new water fill building will be constructed on a section of the parking lot at Henry Singer Ball Park, so it can connect to the City’s water reservoirs located under the pickleball courts.
While construction will be staged to limit impacts to park users, a section of the parking lot will be closed for the duration of the project. Park users are encouraged to carpool when possible.
Construction of the building is anticipated to continue into 2025.
A short-term closure of the South Avenue truck fill station – for bulk water purchases – is also expected to occur. More information will be provided when timelines are available.
Please remember to slow down, watch for workers and follow road signage.
