In November, the Spruce Grove Transit Centre that is co-located at Heavy Metal Place was officially handed over to the City, ensuring it was ready to open to transit riders on December 2.

Over at Heavy Metal Place, finishing work is underway with painting and cleaning happening throughout the facility.

Highlights from November include:

• Board, glass, and flooring installation in the community arena.
• Installation of radiant heaters over the benches in the community arena.
• Dressing room flooring and bathroom fixture installation in the spectator arena.
• Mechanical equipment in the spectator arena is being prepared for activation.
• Glass walls into the spectator arena and the Spruce Grove Public Library branch are being installed.
• In the black box theatre, boarding taping, and electrical rough ins are ongoing.
