Grove Gatherings brings live, local talent to Spruce Grove parks this summer
The City of Spruce Grove is thrilled to announce the launch of Grove Gatherings, a new summer music and performance series hosted in parks throughout the community. The free shows take place every second Tuesday from June to August.
“These performances give our local Alberta musicians and performers a chance to shine in front of an audience, while bringing the community together to enjoy great, live entertainment in one of our amazing parks,” said Spruce Grove Mayor Jeff Acker. “I can’t wait to see our parks come alive with music, laughter, and great entertainment all summer long.”
Grove Gatherings features a diverse lineup of performers including musicians of different genres including country, Top 40, and folk, cultural music and dance demonstrations, and even a travelling circus performance! Grove Gatherings take place in parks around Spruce Grove, offering residents and visitors the chance to explore the City's outdoor spaces while enjoying top-notch entertainment.
All performances are held outdoors and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets (and umbrellas!) to make the most of their experience. If a Grove Gatherings performance is cancelled due to inclement weather, it will be rescheduled to another day. Watch the City’s social media feeds and the Grove Gatherings web page for the latest information.
Grove Gatherings is made possible through funding from the Government of Canada's Canadian Arts Presentation Fund and the City of Spruce Grove.
