This expansion is one of five major projects underway in Spruce Grove’s industrial area. The permit value of those projects amounts to $42 million, with an estimated total project cost about twice that amount. Beyond the industrial area, building permit values in 2023 are on track to be the highest in the history of the City – over $250 million.

Spruce Grove City Council supports economic development strategies that position the City for success in a changing global economy. In May 2023, they approved the 2023-2028 Economic Development Strategy and Action Plan, a high-level plan focused on the growth and diversification of the local economy.
