Sustainable Growth and Development Services

The Sustainable Growth and Development Services (formerly Planning and Infrastructure) department is typically referred to as the provider of ‘hard services’ to the community.

This includes things like urban planning, permits and approvals for construction, land development services, and maintenance of the City’s infrastructure, facilities, buildings and fleet. The department is also responsible for traditional capital works programs.

These services are provided through the sub-departments of Asset Management, Engineering, Planning and Development, and Public Works.
