Spruce Grove Library Board
The City of Spruce Grove Library Board is a governing board under the provisions of the Libraries Act and works with library staff to program, operate and maintain library services for area residents. The board is responsible for enacting bylaws and policies, preparing budgets, hiring staff and promoting the library in the community.
Members are appointed for a 3 year term and may serve up to three terms. Meetings are held monthly with the exception of July, August or December.
Membership consists of no fewer than 5 and no more than 10 members. Up to 2 members of Council may be appointed.
Recruitment for vacancies on the Board takes place during the annual Board and Committee Recruitment process which occurs in the Fall. Please watch the Board and Committee webpage for application details.
