Council passed C-1371-25 - Policing Committee Bylaw establishing the Policing Committee (PC) to provide advice to the Officer in Charge, Council, and Administration on policing matters.

The Committee shall consist of no less than five members and no more than seven members and shall be comprised of: no less than three (3) and up to six (6) public members (of which, one (1) shall be a youth member) and no less than one (1) and no more than two (2) members of Council.

Recruitment for the new Policing Committee will take place during the annual Board and Committee Recruitment process that will start in late spring 2025. Please watch the Board and Committee webpage for application details.
