Notes
- City operated outdoor ice surfaces are inspected and flooded once a day, weather permitting.
- No maintenance/inspection activity will take place on statutory holidays.
- User discretion is advised. Use at your own risk.
- The City reserves the right to close ice surfaces based on ice surface conditions.
- There are benches at the rinks for putting skates on (no skate shacks available).
Stormwater management facilities
For your safety, stay off the ice at stormwater management facilities (also known as stormwater ponds). In the winter, the constant flow of water causes the ice to be unstable, unpredictable, and often very thin. Stormwater management facilities are not safe for people or pets and access is prohibited at all times. Learn more about Stormwater Safety in Spruce Grove.
