The City of Spruce Grove is a vibrant, dynamic community of nearly 40,000 people. Over the next 20 years, the population is anticipated to increase by more than 25,000. To accommodate and responsibly plan for this growth, the City is developing a Housing Strategy, reviewing our housing inventory and assessing what types of housing may be needed in the future.

The Housing Strategy will affect Spruce Grove residents and businesses as it will guide the City’s approach to housing developments of all types and inform future decisions on land use and development.

The Housing Strategy is expected to be completed in Fall 2024.
