Art Explorer camps provide a safe, fun way to meet new friends, be creative and make memories! Activities and experiences will include arts or craft projects, games, and play. Camps vary in age and themes each week.

Time:
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Pre and Post Care:
Pre camp care drop off begins at 8 a.m. and post camp care pick up time is 5 p.m. This is an extra fee of $25/week for early drop off and $25/week for late pick up for 5-day camps, and $20/week for early drop off and $20/week for late pick up for 4-day camps. Participants are offered a variety of activity choices such as stories, games, or activity centres. Registration is required.

Week 1: Creative Sketchers 

Join us on a week-long art adventure to unleash your imagination. Explore a wide variety of artistic techniques; learn new skills and experiment with a variety of materials. Get ready to make unique art projects inspired by the world around you. Includes field trips to Crock A Doodle and the Muttart Conservatory!

Week 2: Comic Creators 

Join Comic Creators for a week of artistic discovery! A weeklong journey into the art of storytelling through comics. Discover the basics of comic creation, from character design to panel magic. Unleash your creativity in a mysterious adventure of visual storytelling. Includes Rolling Tales Comics Tour & Workshop!

Week 3: Painting Paradise 

Join us for a creative journey as we delve into various painting materials and techniques. Discover the secrets of self-expression through the art of painting. Immerse yourself in a paradise of creativity at Painting Paradise – a weeklong camp like no other! Includes field trips to Crock A Doodle and the Art Gallery of Alberta!

Week 4: Musical Theatre

Join us for an immersive experience as participants delve into the world of musical theatre. Explore the realms of dance, choreography, and acting in this creative adventure. Unleash your talents on stage during this dynamic weeklong camp.

Week 5: Circus Playshop

Step into the enchanting world of Circus Playshop with hula hoops, a 4-day extravaganza of awe and skill! Join us for an immersive experience where participants discover the basics of circus arts, guided by seasoned professionals. Unleash your potential on stage during this short yet magical camp.

Week 6: Architects in Action 

Join us for a dynamic camp where participants craft with diverse materials, including the iconic LEGO. Dive into the world of imagination as you build your own creations, from fantastical structures to iconic landmarks. Architects in Action promises a week of hands-on exploration and architectural adventure!

Week 7: Sculpting Wonders 

Join us for an immersive camp where campers explore the art of sculpting with various materials, including clay. Unlock your imagination and bring your ideas to life in three dimensions. Sculpting Wonders promises a week of hands-on exploration and sculptural marvels! Includes in house pottery wheel training and glass suncatcher!

Refund and transfer policy

The full registration fee will be refunded or applied to a transfer up to 14 days prior to the start date of your program. Within 14 days of the program start date, a refund will not be provided.
