Civic Centre Project Update - May 2022
Spruce Grove City Council was presented with an update on the proposed Civic Centre, including the design concept, during a special Council meeting on Monday, May 30.
At the direction of Council, City Administration has been working on the design of a proposed Civic Centre since last year. Work on the preliminary design phase is now nearly complete, identifying the project’s final size, cost estimates, location, and amenities.

Following the special Council meeting, community members will have an opportunity to learn about the project at two upcoming public information sessions:
- June 2 starting at 7 p.m. at Horizon Stage. This will be a sit-down info session that will include a formal presentation and overview of the project, speakers, display boards, and an opportunity to connect with project team members and members of City Council.
- June 4 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Spruce Grove Public Library. This will be a drop-in style info session that will include display boards and an opportunity to connect with project team members and members of City Council.
It is expected that Council will make a final decision on the project during the June 13 Council meeting.
