Community Service Partnership Program

Earn money for your community group

The Community Service Partnership (CSP) Program provides an opportunity for local community groups to raise funds while providing a service to the community.

All groups will be given the opportunity to participate in at least one project per year. Depending on the number of applicants, participation in a requested project is not guaranteed. Selection will be based on project needs and required skills. All groups are invited to apply for opportunities of interest, including:

  • Canada Day Celebration
  • Residential mail delivery for events or programs
  • Other one-off events

The City of Spruce Grove will:

  • develop and maintain a database of qualifying community groups
  • match available projects to a qualifying community group
  • ensure all qualifying community groups have equal opportunity to complete city projects
  • host an orientation meeting before starting the project to review all safety concerns related to the project
  • provide all safety equipment necessary to complete the project in a safe manner
  • provide supervision to ensure the project is a success
  • inspect the work upon completion of the project and inform the community group if further work is required
  • provide payment to the community group within 30 days of the completion of the project
  • market and promote this opportunity to local community groups

The volunteer group will:

  • provide current proof of incorporation as a society under the Alberta’s Society Act
  • apply annually to Community Service Partnership Program to retain membership
  • attend the orientation meeting with City staff
  • provide a volunteer supervisor to coordinate a Toolbox safety meeting for all volunteers as per the City’s health and safety program
  • provide the agreed-upon volunteers at the time and location determined by the City
  • complete the project to the specifications set out by the City

Groups must have a society number and be based in Spruce Grove and area to qualify. Qualified groups must register for the CSP program annually by submitting the application form below.
