Earn money for your community group

The Community Service Partnership (CSP) Program provides opportunities for local community groups to raise funds while providing a service to the community.

Opportunities

All groups will be considered for opportunities annually, selection will be based on project needs and required skills. Depending on the number of applicants, and positions available, participation in a requested project is not guaranteed. Opportunities may include:

  • Canada Day Celebration
  • One-off events

Responsibilities

The City of Spruce Grove will:

  • develop and maintain a database of qualifying community groups
  • match available projects to a qualifying community group
  • ensure all qualifying community groups have equal opportunity to complete city projects
  • host an orientation meeting before starting the project to review all safety concerns related to the project
  • provide all safety equipment necessary to complete the project in a safe manner
  • provide supervision to ensure the project is a success
  • inspect the work upon completion of the project and inform the community group if further work is required
  • provide payment to the community group within 30 days of the completion of the project
  • market and promote this opportunity to local community groups

The partnering group will:

  • be incorporated as a society under the Alberta’s Society Act
  • apply annually to Community Service Partnership Program
  • attend the orientation meeting with City staff
  • provide a supervisor to coordinate a Toolbox safety meeting for all participants as per the City’s health and safety program
  • provide the agreed-upon volunteers at the time and location determined by the City
  • complete the project to the specifications set out by the City

Register

Groups must have a society number and be based in Spruce Grove area to qualify. Qualified groups must register for the CSP program annually by submitting the application form below.

Organization information
Associations are required to apply to represent teams. Individual teams will not be considered if they are part of a larger organization.
Name of individual coordinating the group's participation in the CSPP activity.
ie: Minor sport association serving youth ages 14 - 17 yrs.
