Outstanding Achievement Recognition Program

Spruce Grove is home to many talented individuals and groups. The Outstanding Achievement Recognition Program is one way for us, as a community, to formally celebrate each other's accomplishments.

Certificate of Recognition

Successful applicants will be invited to attend a council meeting, where they will be presented with a Certificate of Recognition by the Mayor and Council.

Eligibility

As outlined in the Outstanding Achievement Recognition Policy, individuals, teams, groups and organizations who have accomplished outstanding achievements in the areas of athletics, fine arts, academics and cultural activities are eligible. These accomplishments will have been noted for first, second or third place at a provincial, national, international or invitational competition or event. The individual, team, group or organization should have Spruce Grove residents as the majority of its members and/or represent the City of Spruce Grove at the competition or event.

Nominations

Fill out the Outstanding Achievement Recognition application form and submit by email.

If you have articles or pictures from the competition or event, please submit copies along with the application form. Additional background information about the accomplishment is welcome. Please note applications and supporting documents will not be returned.

Deadline

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis so there is no set deadline. Once your nomination application is reviewed, you will be contacted.
