Brendan Bottcher

Brendan Bottcher first began bringing home the hardware as a junior curler, winning gold in the Alberta Junior Men’s Championship in 2010, followed by gold in the Canadian Junior Championship and World Championship in 2012.

On a national level, he has skipped his rinks to multiple podium titles, including the Canadian Brier in 2021. Most recently, his team won bronze in the 2023 Brier, and Brendan has also won five Grand Slam of Curling events, which is an elite series of six curling events featuring the best teams from across Canada and the world.

Brendan, who also works as a chemical engineer, is married to Bobbie Sauder and is a stepdad to four awesome kids. He regularly volunteers within the community, and is a coach, mentor, and role model for young, aspiring curlers.
