You can use the panel below to review information for upcoming and previous meetings.
Held on the second and fourth Monday of each month (except July, August, November and December), Regular Council meetings start at 6 p.m. (except as noted). All meetings are open to the public and are held in Council Chambers on the 3rd floor of City Hall at 315 Jespersen Avenue in Spruce Grove.
Regular Council meetings are when your Mayor and Council make decisions that set the direction for maintaining a safe and viable community. Those decisions come in the form of resolutions and bylaws which enable Administration to conduct the day-to-day operations of our community. Residents have the opportunity to participate in council meetings through public input session and by delegation.
An additional Regular Council Meeting has been added to help evenly distribute the number of agenda items between meeting dates each month and accommodate an increasing number of Land Use Bylaw amendments. Under the amended schedule, these Regular Council meetings will precede GPC meetings on the following dates in 2025:
- Monday, March 17
- Tuesday, April 22
- Tuesday, May 20
- Monday, June 16
- Monday, August 18
- Monday, September 8
Held on the third Monday of each month (except July, November, and December), Governance and Priorities Committee meetings start at 6 p.m. (except as noted). All meetings are open to the public and are held in Council Chambers on the 3rd floor of City Hall at 315 Jespersen Avenue in Spruce Grove.
A Governance and Priorities Committee meeting provides the opportunity for Council to hold discussions on any matter, determine process, and receive detailed information from Administration, delegations, or subject matter experts. Governance and Priorities Committee meetings are council research and information sessions that are held in a less formal atmosphere than a Regular Council meeting. The agendas for these meetings do not include public input sessions.
