Searle Turton resigns from Spruce Grove City Council

Searle Turton officially resigned from his position as councillor with Spruce Grove City Council on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. His resignation was accepted by City Manager Robert Cotterill.

Turton had recently been on leave from council, as he was the United Conservative Party candidate for the Spruce Grove-Stony Plain riding in the provincial election. He won the riding on April 16, 2019.

The City will conduct a by-election in the coming months to fill this vacancy on council.
