New targeted public health measures announced for Spruce Grove, effective Nov. 13

In response to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, the Province of Alberta is implementing new targeted public health measures that will impact Spruce Grove, effective Friday, Nov. 13.

This includes the following mandatory measures that are being applied in specific urban areas, including Spruce Grove:

  • Two-week ban on indoor group fitness classes and team sport activities (Nov. 13-27).
  • Two-week ban on group performance activities: singing, dancing and theatre (Nov. 13-27).

There are also additional targeted measures that apply to all communities on the Province’s enhanced list. These measures include gathering size limits and impacts to operating hour for bars and restaurants. A full list of the targeted measures is available online.

All other previous measures, both mandatory and voluntary, remain in effect.
