Subdivision and Development Appeal Board
The Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB) is a quasi-judicial board established under the Municipal Government Act of the Province of Alberta. It is a tribunal, consisting of a minimum of three members, one of which must be an councillor, while the remaining members must be residents of Spruce Grove. The SDAB hears appeals from persons affected by a decision of the Development Authority and/or the Subdivision Authority under the Land Use Bylaw, C-824-12
Board membership appointments are for 3 year terms with up to (2) 3 year extensions. Meetings are held on an as required basis and must be held within 30 days of the receipt of an appeal.
- Minimum of 2 Spruce Grove residents
- 1 Councillor and 1 alternate Councillor
