Bylaw C-1152-21 proposes amendment to the East Pioneer Area Structure Plan (ASP) Bylaw C-843-13 to adjust its land use concept by removing the existing Special Study Area and Estate Residential land uses, and replacing these uses with an integrated commercial and sports entertainment area – featuring a baseball stadium complex.
Bylaw C-1153-21 proposes amendment to the City of Spruce Grove Municipal Development Plan Bylaw C-960-16 (MDP), to add new vehicle oriented commercial future land use in the place of existing Residential and Open Space uses east of Pioneer Road and north of Highway 16A. MDP Figures 8, 9, and 11 are being adjusted to reflect the land uses as proposed within the concurrent East Pioneer ASP Amendment.

The Public Hearing can be viewed online during our June 14 virtual council meeting.
If you or someone you represent is affected by one of the proposed bylaws, you may participate in the virtual council meeting to address City Council at the Public Hearing. Those wishing to speak to Council must pre-register with the City Clerk by Monday, June 14 at 12 p.m. by email, at email@example.com, or by telephone at 587-336-0387. The City Clerk will provide registered participants with information necessary to access the public hearing by virtual means.
