Eco Centre

The Eco Centre is a drop-off facility where residents can dispose of items that can’t be placed in their black waste cart, blue recycling bag or green organics cart. Household hazardous waste, electronics, appliances and extra garbage are also accepted at the Eco Centre.

Payment

The Eco Centre will only accept debit, Visa and MasterCard. Remember to come with your card.

As part of a pilot project being offered by the Alberta Recycling Management Authority, additional e-waste items will be accepted at the Eco Centre.	No charge

Clear and coloured glass food jars Must be clean and free from dirt, food residue, plastic and metal. Paper labels are acceptable, plastic or metal labels must be removed. Plastic and metal lids and rings must be removed. Metal lids can go in the metal bin also located at the Eco Centre. Broken glass jars will not be accepted and must be placed in a black waste cart for disposal.	No charge

Organic waste Up to 3 cubic metres. If bagged, bags must be compostable. Tree branches must be less than 10 cm in diameter and 2 m in length.	No charge

Tires 39 inch diameter or less, rims removed.	No charge
