Waiting for your bus

We recommend arriving at your stop approximately 5 minutes before your bus departs. When the bus you want to ride approaches, face the oncoming bus and make eye contact and/or wave to make contact with the operator. That way, the operator knows you want to board. 

Spruce Grove Transit Centre

The Spruce Grove Transit Centre is the hub for all commuter service (Route 560) into and out of Spruce Grove and a regular stop for the On-Demand Local Transit service.

 Features of the Transit Centre include:

• Parking stalls for Park & Ride users at no cost
• Passenger drop off/pick up zone
• Lit and heated shelter
• Bike racks

Transit Watch

Route 560 is operated under contract by Edmonton Transit Services. ETS's Transit Watch program is available to Route 560 passengers.

The Transit Watch program allows passengers to discretely report safety concerns, like harassment, disorder or suspicious behaviour directly to staff in the ETS Control Centre. If you have safety concerns on Route 560, call or text Transit Watch anytime at 780-442-4900, state that you are on Route 560, provide the approximate location of the bus, and report your safety concern. The Control Centre has the capability of viewing the interior of the bus through the bus's camera system. ETS staff will prioritize and dispatch security resources appropriately.
